Hello everyone!~ Happy July! 🙂 Can’t believe half a year already passed by just like that, next thing you know it’ll be Christmas haha (see how I skipped Halloween and Thanksgiving? Psshh, Christmas is my favorite holiday that’s why hehe! What’s yours?) || I have been in a huge slump these days and truth to be told, this is by far one of the worst periods of my life. I have never been so exhausted, unmotivated, depressed, and just so lost… I practically let myself go and it just feels so hard to pull myself together at times. Lots of things have happened recently that led me to this very worst slump ever and even though I tried not to put the blame on certain events, I find it easier to use those incidents as an excuse for what I have ended up like these days. Things such as family issues, money issues, feeling like I’m not good enough kind of issues, blah blah blah, you guys get the idea.
But in the end, I am trying.
After all, this is my life, if I don’t pull myself together and get things straight, then who will right? Sigh. Okay, enough with this sad talk. Let’s talk about the outfit haha 😀
I have been obsessed with wide legs pants since last year and honestly though, I’m so short that finding wide legs pants can be such a struggle. I was quite picky with the kinds of ‘palazzo’ pants I came across throughout these months. But I decided to just not be picky and look at the brighter picture. I can rock these pants just as well as every other taller girls out there, but of course, in my own ways.
Personally, styling palazzo pants (or wide legs pants) can be as easy as a piece of cake. It is up to you, the person that wears it, on how you wear it, and what you wear it with. I myself like to style it with more fitted tops, just so I can balance out the outfit more. Seeing how palazzo pants are already flare out at the bottom, I think it is important to keep the top portion more fitted so we don’t end up looking as ‘baggy,’ know what I mean? 🙂
In this outfit, I paired this super gorgeous and comfortable black & white stripes palazzo pants with a white ribbed crop halter top from Topshop that I am absolutely in love with (it is such a stable in my closet tbh). To keep the outfit more put together, I went with a statement belt to add a pop of glam to the outfit. As mentioned many times before, I am extremely petite so most of the times if not all, I like to go for anything with platform for my shoes. Hence, for this look, I went with my stable black strappy platform sandals to balance out the outfit since the pants hit me right at the ankle (almost floor length if I don’t wear heels).
What I wore: halter top Topshop / pants Irene’s Story / belt Showpo / shoes Aliexpress
Let me know what you guys think of this palazzo pants trend and how would you style yours? 😛 I hope you all will have a lovely week and happy July ❤️
Stay happy and hydrated everyone! ❤️
